Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Content Marketing & SEO Specialist to elevate brand visibility, drive lead generation, and enhance customer engagement through strategic content creation and effective search engine optimization. This role is perfect for a seasoned content professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare and medical device industry, regulatory compliance, and digital marketing best practices.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation:

  • Develop high-quality, informative, and engaging content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, and patient guides.
  • Tailor content to meet the needs of healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Align content with brand messaging, industry trends, and patient education objectives.

SEO Optimization:

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for organic search growth.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to enhance website performance and search visibility.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all content adheres to industry regulations, including medical accuracy and ethical standards.
  • Work with medical and compliance teams to maintain transparency and credibility in all communications.

Content Distribution & Promotion:

  • Manage content distribution across multiple channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms.
  • Support digital campaigns, PPC landing pages, and paid social strategies to maximize content reach and engagement.

Performance Tracking & Data Analysis:

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to track content performance, organic traffic, and engagement.
  • Analyze SEO metrics and adjust content strategies based on data insights.
  • Report on content ROI and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with medical professionals, marketing teams, product managers, and sales teams to align content with business goals.
  • Collaborate across departments and support other digital initiatives as needed.
  • Stay up to date with healthcare industry trends, patient insights, and digital marketing innovations.
  • Educate and support colleagues in understanding digital tactics and strategy.

Personal Specification:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated expertise in content marketing, SEO, and digital strategy, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals (though not essential).
  • Ability to craft clear, engaging, and compelling content, effectively translating complex medical information for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog to drive content performance and visibility.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Craft, and Umbraco.

Desirable:

  • Experience in patient engagement strategies, healthcare content marketing, or medical writing.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital campaign management tools.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, including medical device regulations and NHS guidelines, as well as ethical marketing practices.
  • Basic proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
