Marine Engineer – Marine Technician required in Southampton

Volvo Penta or MAN experience preferred
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Client’s Motor Yacht Service & Warranty Repair team in Southampton, Hampshire.

You’ll be competent with:

Service, maintenance and repair of inboard engines with a “right first time” attitude;
Working on electrical and mechanical systems;
General maintenance and preparation of boats ready for customer use;
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and testing all vessels;
Documenting work required and completed accurately on job cards;
Carrying out warranty repairs, this will include work locally and further afield and therefore requires a full UK driving licence;

Requirements:

Qualification in Marine Engineering;
Experience within the Leisure Yachting sector;
Full UK driving licence;
Experience with Volvo Penta or MAN engines is highly beneficial.
