Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition. As the Commercial Manager, you will be part of the Regional Commercial Operations team and would be responsible for supporting the bid team in North South Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Bid Team in the Northern & Southern Europe Region: Assist in the clause-by-clause review of sales terms and conditions, in collaboration with legal and contract management teams.
  • Review Consortium agreements and actively participate in meetings with partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide transactional deal support through the risk tollgate process, ensuring compliance with business deal governance.
  • Record and circulate meeting minutes, conduct commercial risk assessments, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Interact with the bid team ahead of review and decision meetings to ensure smooth operations and efficient documentation management.
  • Lead initiatives for process and tool improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Regional Commercial Operations team.
  • Implement corrective actions based on LEAN tools, win-loss analysis, and customer feedback to drive world-class offer quality.
  • Monitor and take corrective actions for pending commercial risk decisions by utilizing and developing dashboards.
  • Collaborate with all functions - Sales, Tendering, Legal, Finance, Operations - and other Grid Solutions businesses to optimize sales solutions.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Strong background in Tendering, Proposals, Contracts, or Project Management, with demonstrated experience in turnkey environments.
  • A global perspective on the turnkey substation business, with an understanding of project risks and how to mitigate them through commercial terms and conditions.
  • Experience with NEC, FIDIC, and other standard contract models.
  • Experience with at least 2 major contracts in the UK, specifically reviewing and proposing commercial terms in the best interest of the company.
  • Significant knowledge of EPC Consortia and subcontract terms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
