As an Industrial Electrician you are responsible for new equipment installation for projects within a timely manner. You will troubleshoot problems for the repair of existing equipment and be responsible for preventive maintenance for existing equipment. We expect timely response to projects and repair to minimize downtime for equipment and production lines.

Your shift will be structured on night shift (7pm-7am) on a four on four off schedule with training availability on daylight (7am-7pm) in the first introductory months.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures and guidelines must always be adhered to. Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing industrial environment and be able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Completion of a formal technical training program (vocational/college level).
  • Previous industrial electrical experience will be considered in lieu of formal documented technical training.
  • Must have working knowledge of single and three phase AC systems.
  • Must be able to work in industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic controls, programmable logic controllers, AC and DC drives, motor controls and instruments.
  • Able to read and work from schematics and drawings.
  • Must be willing to work nights and overtime.
  • No relocation assistance or housing assistance is offered for this position.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
