Job Description
Freelance Site Engineer Role – Birmingham – Tier One Contractor Your new company You will be joining a forward-thinking and innovative Tier 1 contractor whose main purpose is building for a better society with a customer focused mindset. This contractor has an exciting opportunity working on a dual carriage way project in the Birmingham area which you will be a part of. Your new role You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the construction of multiple drainage systems across the highways project, which will involve attenuation tanks and establishing compounds.
Furthermore, you will be writing temporary work design briefs and keeping an accurate and detailed site record of all works. You will be contributing to a successful working environment. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will have a Civil Engineering Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, CSCS Card and SMSTS.
In addition to this, experience using engineering surveying tools is required and experience in excavation works, drainage works and earthworks is desirable however not essential. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive day rate and have the opportunity to work on a long-term highway drainage project which will last for at least 6 months.
