We have an exciting opportunity to join our Project Management Office team as a Business Analyst to support the Council's Digital Transformation Programme by contributing and supporting digital projects across the council with a focus on the delivery of excellent customer service.
You will work closely with the PMO Manager, Programme Managers, Project teams and business stakeholders, providing key analytical support that allows customer and business needs and requirements to be understood, documented and delivered and supported in line with organisational policy.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Agile and Digital project experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience of analysing and rationalising data from disparate business systems into aggregated information used to support tactical and strategic business decision making
- Experience of mapping and modelling business and technical processes to support the "as is" status and "to be" outcome of business change programmes
You will need to be educated to HNC/D level or have equivalent experience and preferably hold formal business analyst, project, service design and service management qualifications. You will be used to dealing with a wide range of customers at all levels and capturing business requirements, key data and co-ordinating user stories.
You will be an enthusiastic, methodical self-starter who is able to form positive relationships and deal with people confidently at all levels. You will need to have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills and have a disciplined approach to work.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
