City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a RN Traveler for their Stepdown IMCU & Med-Surg floor! Position Details: Temporary Full Time Night Shift Pay: $70 per hour Department/Position Overview: This 34-bed unit includes 17 beds for Med Surg and 17 for Intermediate Care. Nurse:Patient ratio is 1:4 for IMCU and 1:6 for Med/Surg. Patient population includes Trauma/Burns, Orthopedic Trauma, Neurosurgery. The RN will collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of nursing care, addressing the healthcare needs of patients, families, and the community. Requirements: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience Role Highlights: As a Sentara RN, you can grow in various specialties, with opportunities for leadership and advanced care.
