CADD Operator

Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience. The CADD Operator will perform various field and desktop design functions related to projects, including but not limited to site surveys, field engineering, OSP design, encroachment permitting, and CAD of aerial, underground, and buried telecommunication systems. Responsibilities Draft parcels or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D). Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus). Perform topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, as-built surveys, etc. Read and plot legal descriptions. Draft portions of routine projects under the direction of a project surveyor. Understand surveying terminology. Prepare various survey products. Adhere to AutoCAD standards manual. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate\’s Degree or technical certification in AutoCAD preferred. 2-5 years of related experience; previous survey experience a plus. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation a plus. Ability to work within a team to complete multiple projects within budgets and deadlines. Strong English reading, writing, and comprehension skills for understanding job-related communications and instructions.
