This role is responsible for delivering the growth objectives for the D2C site and third-party marketplaces. Managing a team of 9 across digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Email, Affiliates, Social) and digital trading to achieve a +£50m sales budget. The role will work cross-functionally with the digital operations and development team to deliver KPIs supporting growth objectives.

The responsibilities include:

  • Optimising visitor value and marketing channels using data and insight for agile trading activities such as landing page optimisation, sort order, attributes, search results, recommendations, and content by device, and recommending larger inputs into the digital operations and development team's roadmap.
  • Managing a £5m CRM and acquisition budget, evaluating trade-offs between Cost of Acquisition (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) to optimise spend.
  • Ensuring the category and product proposition are digitally focused by collaborating with data/insight and buying/merchandising teams, influencing product and category focus decisions based on data.
  • Aligning digital channels’ focus and execution with the commercial plan by working with the brand/creative team to ensure creative assets are suitable for digital use.
  • Increasing digital channels’ profitability through collaboration with the data/insight team.
  • Improving the operating profit of the marketplaces channel by performance analysis and understanding levers to drive profitable performance.
