Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Trade Routing Application Tech Expert! In this role, the candidate will be dedicated to providing trade routing application integration to support business expansions in London, focus on automation to improve work efficiency as well as leverage next generation technologies platform contributing to the global strategic architecture.
Responsibilities
- Trade Routing Application Integration: Lead integration efforts for trade routing applications, ensuring smooth data flow across different trading and reporting platforms. Work with business units to understand and translate their requirements into technical solutions.
- Automation & Efficiency: Drive automation initiatives to improve work efficiency and reduce manual interventions. Leverage next-generation platforms and tools to enhance system capabilities and performance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, risk management, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions. Communicate both business requirements and technical solutions clearly and effectively.
- Business Knowledge Acquisition: Gain a deep understanding of the trading business, particularly trading flows, to support application integration and ensure alignment with business objectives. Participate in continuous learning, with a focus on developing an understanding of securities, derivatives, wealth management, fixed income, and OTC trading.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for complex system configurations and infrastructure-related challenges. Ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of the data routing applications.
- Global & Regional Solutions: Support regional and global solutions that meet business requirements across different geographic areas. Contribute to global strategic data routing solutions that align with the firm's long-term objectives.
Qualifications we seek in you!
- Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Strong UNIX / Linux skills
- Scripting (Perl, Shell etc.)
- Good knowledge of python
- Good understanding of XML.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of Agile/DevOps
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Some exposure to the following programming languages: CTT, Java
- Knowledge of Database (SQL, DB design, etc.)
- Experience working with colleagues in remote locations
