About the Role:
As a Senior Associate specialising in Social Housing, you’ll take a lead role in delivering complex, high-value work for a wide range of housing clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with real estate or housing law experience to step into a senior role with autonomy, client contact, and the chance to shape the future of the team. You’ll work across a broad caseload including development, governance, compliance, and asset management, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on complex development and regeneration projects, including acquisitions, disposals, and site assembly
- Advise on shared ownership, leasehold, and housing management issues
- Support clients on regulatory and governance matters
- Act as a key client contact, building long-term, trusted relationships
- Contribute to business development, thought leadership and sector engagement
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team
About You:
- UK qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE, ideally from a real estate or social housing background
- Experience advising registered providers, housing associations or local authorities
- Strong technical knowledge with a commercial and pragmatic approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about the social housing sector and committed to delivering value-driven legal support
