In conjunction with the Casino Manager, the Senior Casino Supervisor leads and manages the Casino operations, including core functions such as daily operational activities, guest relations, compliance with all gaming rules as per SQM, and performance management of the Casino Staff.
Hiring Requirements:
- Minimum one-year experience internally as a Senior Casino Supervisor with consistently high performance ratings. (shipboard experience preferred)
- One to two years of progressive supervisory experience in a casino environment within resorts, cruise lines, or hotels.
- Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment regarding rules and regulations.
- Ability to observe and recognize payout accuracy, dealer behavior, and related activities.
- Satisfactory completion of a Gaming Board/Commission-approved dealer school.
- Ability to manage the financial aspects of a casino operation, including identifying expense reductions through cost efficiencies and revenue growth via promotions and upselling. Ability to manage headcount to support vessel business needs.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
- Understanding of HR policies and practices, with the ability to manage international staff positively and productively, motivating, developing, and managing employees, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including navigating software such as Excel and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution or the international equivalent is preferred.
