Overview
Due to the continued growth and success of the firm, we are seeking an experienced operational risk and compliance professional to join our Onboarding leadership team. You will oversee a broad portfolio, including systems change development and deployment of resources to the team and business, working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Onboarding to drive process improvements across client and matter onboarding.
Team & Environment
The Onboarding team is part of the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) Directorate, with offices in Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dubai. The team provides guidance on client onboarding, anti-money laundering checks, risk assessments, and supports MLROs and the OGC team on high-risk issues. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance onboarding systems to support firm processes.
- Coordinate with IT to develop and test system changes.
- Gather and articulate business requirements for system updates.
- Provide solutions when system changes are not suitable.
- Create and maintain onboarding resources and documentation.
- Communicate system and process changes effectively.
- Supervise the onboarding apprentices.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of regulatory and commercial onboarding requirements.
- Proven experience in managing onboarding processes.
- Technical proficiency with onboarding systems, especially Intapp.
- Experience in designing and implementing system changes.
- Ability to develop training and reference materials in various formats.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
