Our client is a global leading high tech company with over 6,500 employees across 20+ offices. They are fast growing and working with cutting edge AR and VR technologies, 3D printing, etc.
They are looking for an AV technician with enterprise AV experience to join their London Farringdon AV engineering team:
- AV technician onsite responsible for conference rooms and support general staff to senior VPs;
- Set up, test and troubleshoot all AV technologies and video services including software and hardware in conference rooms and events spaces;
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for all VC technologies including Google Meet, Fuze VOIP, Zoom, etc.;
- Provide documentation, maintain system configuration and develop procedures for system updates;
- Hybrid AV/IT technician with primary focus on the AV side, work alongside the IT support for desktop support when needed (Snapchat will provide IT training).
Requirements:
- 2 year+ experience working as AV technician or an IT support/service desk with experience in AV/VC support;
- Must have experience with ticketing system/management such as Jira, Servicenow or similar;
- Experience in enterprise and professional AV technologies such as Crestron, Biamp, Yamaha, Shure;
- Ideally familiar with VC platforms such as Hangouts Meet and Zoom;
- AV transmission protocols including UDP, VoIP and SIP and ability to read signal flow diagrams is a big plus;
- Experience in MAC OS, Chrome OS and PC platforms is a big plus.
This will be a contract to run for 12 months. It has a budget of £250 per day and is inside IR35.
