Job Description

Job Title: Conversion Manager

Location: Hybrid (London). Must be open to travel 1 day a month.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Conversion Manager to join our team at Deloitte. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex data conversion projects for our Capital Markets clients.

You will leverage your expertise in project management, data migration, and Capital Markets operations to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of data conversion projects, including project planning, governance, resource management, risk management, stakeholder communication, change management, quality assurance, timeline management, and client/vendor management.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, communication plans, and status reports.

Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their business requirements, data models, and migration objectives.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors involved in the data conversion process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of data conversion methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing data conversion projects within the Capital Markets industry, specifically within Equity, Derivatives (Options and Swaps), and FX.

Strong understanding of Capital Markets operations, including trade lifecycle, settlements, pricing, and asset management.

Experience with client onboarding processes, particularly in relation to data migration and system integration.

Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Experience with Charles River IMS is a plus.
