Please note we require a Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule. About Our Service A beautiful complex of 3 properties comprising a converted 4-bedroom barn where 4 ladies live and 2 single occupancy annexes. There is a communal courtyard perfect for social gatherings and BBQs. The property is in a rural location within walking distance of local amenities. 24/7 support with various shifts available. Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in St Austell supports people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health , and Acquired Brain Injuries . As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routines of the people within the service, including: Supporting daily routines and promoting independence. Encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. Maintaining health care needs, including appointments and medication administration. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping. Assisting with personal care as required. Supporting with domestic tasks like cleaning and cooking. Providing guidance and emotional support. Experience in care is not required as full training, coaching, and development are provided.
