We\’re Hiring: Head of Debt Assist

Location: Remote | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Β£59,585pa – Β£75,476pa

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Debt Assist, you will:

  • Execute the Debt Assist Business Plan to meet performance, profit, and growth targets.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering development and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive transformation and service efficiencies across a client Debt Assist offering.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with all governance, policy, and risk frameworks.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Managers, and Customer Services to align delivery with pipeline and forecasted growth.
  • Oversee seamless client onboarding and effective third-party supplier management.
  • Champion internal communications, employee engagement, and brand presence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-educated (or equivalent experience), ideally with a relevant professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in service delivery, ideally within a commercial or outsourced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in performance.
  • Sector-specific expertise in debt recovery or related services.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget and margin management.
  • A collaborative leader with excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Metrics for Success

  • Achievement of annual profit, cash, and gross margin targets.
  • Successful delivery of transformation goals and operational improvements.
  • Increased employee engagement and improved internal communication.
  • Enhanced client experience through efficient service and support models.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Tower Director, Business Group Directors, Client Managers, Service Delivery Teams.
  • External: Clients, Suppliers, Third-Party Stakeholders.
