Role Overview Within this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting our Property team in handling general material damage losses and complex building-related issues. Claims typically range from around £20k to over £1M, with an average claim value of approximately £250k. This position is remote with travel requirements. Responsibilities Work alongside experienced adjusters to assess and settle insurance claims efficiently. Conduct initial damage assessments and establish defect diagnoses. Ensure compliance with Planning, Building Regulations, Party Wall, and CDM regulations. Arrange testing, prepare reports, and handle complaint resolutions as needed. Create appraisal reports with costings and recommendations. Qualifications Ideal candidates are experienced Surveyors, preferably Chartered MRICS. A focus on technical surveying skills is desirable. Additional requirements include: Customer and quality focus. Team-oriented attitude. Responsive to workload and proactive in meeting KPIs and SLAs. Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations. Technical competence and knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel. Note: This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check due to the nature of the work.
