This post is eligible for a Welcome Bonus of £2,500* (taxable) for successful candidates, split into 2 instalments, one at passing probation (6 months) and the next at 18 months in post (pro rata if applicable). Are you an NMC Registered Nurse seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? Or are you an NMC Registered Nurse with renal experience, looking to take your next career steps with the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services? You may have NHS experience or have worked in the private care sector, but whatever your Nursing background, with the right attitude and aptitude we have an opportunity for you!

What does the role involve? Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury. Yeovil Renal Unit operates 13 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 65 patients, in partnership with Dorset County Hospital and Southmead Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA’s on each shift. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. Current days are working various shifts between 6:30am to 11.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 6.30am to 6.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
