Role Description: As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of events, development of new and existing clients. Process new enquiries, support and lead existing events, and develop product knowledge of overseas and UK based hotel and venues. You will also be expected to build relationships with both clients and suppliers and manage your own client accounts.
KEY TASKS
• Operate events; incl. inspections and onsite management when required
• Be the leader on complex events and manage a project team
• Event Management – plan, organise, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific events and projects
• Attend presentations and pitches on behalf of the company when required
• Flight bookings and flight management
• Venue Finding, venue management, contracting and liaison including rooming lists
• DMC and ground programme management; offsite venues, transport etc.
• Offsite venue and entertainment selection, including theming and design
• Create, build and manage delegate registration websites
• Financial control; invoicing and event reconciliation
• Develop project teams; recognise strengths and weaknesses fully utilising the team
• Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key partners including; key clients, suppliers and partner companies (AV, team building and DMC’s)
• Manage you own client accounts, including establishing strong relationships and partnerships and developing the account.
• Monitor operational budgets for events, negotiate and be commercially aware
• Ensure all policies and procedures relating to the business are adhered to and develop consistency
• Ensure the consistency of branding and communication across all media
• Develop client briefs and objectives by turning them into live experiences; theme and messaging and brand experience when required
