Driver Support Services has the opportunity for Class 1, Class 2, and 7.5t work with our client in Croydon during their peak period. The client is a major parcel delivery network. The work is temporary and ongoing. Applicants must be fully flexible, as shifts include days and nights, weekday and weekend trunking work with cages. Flexibility with start times and available days will increase the number of shifts offered.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Class 1 driving, with a current digi card.
- Infringements will be checked before assessment. More than 10 infringements in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers' hours, will disqualify you from assessment.
- No more than 3 points for speeding convictions.
- An assessment will be arranged, and a DBS check will be conducted.
The work involves trunking between depots with cages, which will need to be unloaded and loaded occasionally. Shifts will be scheduled via an online platform called Joined Up.
Pay Rates
- Class 1 Days: GBP27ph (Umbrella)
- Class 1 Nights: GBP30ph (Umbrella)
- Class 2 Days: GBP25ph (Umbrella)
- Class 2 Nights: GBP28ph (Umbrella)
- 7.5t Days: GBP22ph (Umbrella)
- 7.5t Nights: GBP25ph (Umbrella)
