- Shifts: 1900-0730, 3 shifts weekly - potential for additional shifts

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Resp failure, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, ARDS, sepsis, DKA, stroke, withdrawal/OD, post-op/surgical, GI bleed/anemia, hypertensive urgency, heart failure.
Additional Notes: CCU may have a combination of critical/intermediate and medical/telemetry patients. Some elevated conditions require send out to higher level of care facilities.
