Service Designer

Role Title: Service Designer Duration: 5 Months Location: Hybrid – 3 days on site Manchester Umbrella only £480 Would you like to join a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation? Key Responsibilities: Establish Service Mapping Foundations * Define and document the current portfolio of services offered across the organization. * Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine the service inventory. Define Service Display Criteria Develop and implement criteria for how services should be represented, including: Service Layers and Color Coding for visual clarity. Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics. Priority Levels based on business impact and urgency. Ownership Models (In-house vs. Supply Chain/Third-party). Hosting Locations (Cloud, On-premises, Hybrid). Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in service design, service architecture, or IT service management. Strong understanding of service mapping methodologies and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF). Proficiency in visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams Preferred Qualifications: Certification in ITIL, Service Design, or Enterprise Architecture. Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments. Familiarity with CMDB and service catalog tools. All profiles will be reviewed against the required skills and experience.
