Our vision is to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews. We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Partner to join our People Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive accountability and promote a values-led culture across our 11 international locations, shaping how we approach employee relations with fairness and consistency. As a Global ER Partner, you’ll lead complex ER cases, provide expert advice, and develop frameworks that empower our leaders and employees. Working closely with People Partners, senior stakeholders, and our Legal team, your contributions will promote positive change and enhance the employee experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the management of ER cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, policy investigations, and concerns raised through our speaking-up platform.
- Advising and supporting managers on managing long-term sickness and underperformance cases with care and efficiency.
- Creating and maintaining country-specific ER resources, including toolkits, templates, and process guides.
- Tracking and logging cases to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with audit requirements.
- Partnering with People Partners to identify trends in ER matters, contributing to the design and delivery of initiatives such as workshops and training to enhance management skills.
- Collaborating with Legal and external counsel to seek employment-related advice where needed.
- Providing expert guidance on organisational changes, including managing risks and people impacts across regions.
- Supporting People Partners with sensitive and complex matters such as severance, redundancies, and settlement agreements.
- Offering mediation and conflict resolution support where required.
- Partnering with the People Operations and Legal teams to develop and update Employee Handbooks and policies across regions.
Who you are:
- You have experience in an Employee Relations role, especially in a global or tech business.
- Familiarity with current UK, Danish, German, and Italian employment laws and practice, wanting to explore employee relations in global contexts.
- Knowledge of employment laws and practice in our other global locations (US, The Netherlands, and Australia) would be beneficial, but not essential.
- You can thrive in an outcome-focused environment and are resourceful.
- You can handle difficult conversations with understanding, diplomacy and professionalism.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective time management to ensure cases are managed in a timely manner.
- An ability to work with little supervision and handle responsibilities in a global organization while communicating with stakeholders around the world.
- Fluency in English as this is our global business language.
