Join to apply for the Production Operative - Grade 2 role at Müller UK & Ireland. We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives at Müller in Severnside. The purpose of this role is to undertake relevant production duties to ensure smooth running of operations and delivery of the daily production plan.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, a quick learner, and have production experience within a food manufacturing environment; however, food manufacturing experience isn’t a requirement.
Contract: Full Time/Perm
Salary: £30,302.46 Per Annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights (6-6)
Location: Severnside
Responsibilities:
- Follow all relevant legal compliance and company policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for performance compliance.
- Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
- Undertake training and development to support team performance and succession planning.
- Work with the team to identify, implement, and sustain cost-saving initiatives.
- Deliver initiatives to reduce waste.
- Ensure all dairy plant and equipment are properly maintained and issues are raised promptly.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Follow quality system controls and procedures to maintain product integrity.
Müller Responsibilities:
- Commit to Health and Safety by addressing unsafe practices and hazards.
- Support and promote Health & Safety and EMS practices.
- Adhere to all relevant safety and environmental practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Capture and record data accurately and promptly.
- Understand and be accountable for your performance measures.
