The role of Financial Reporting Analyst sits within a collaborative finance team responsible for both statutory and regulatory reporting. The successful individual will contribute to the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns, support tax analysis, liaise with auditors, and take part in various financial control and compliance tasks.
Duties will include:
- Assisting in the production of statutory accounts for special purpose vehicles and consolidated group entities
- Supporting the delivery of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns
- Drafting technical accounting memos for newly incorporated structures
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures
- Working alongside external tax advisors on corporation tax calculations and reconciliations
- Coordinating with accounts payable to ensure purchasing compliance
- Assisting with audit preparation and responding to auditor queries
- Providing cover within the finance team during periods of absence
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to support cross-functional financial objectives
- Supporting ad hoc reporting and analytical tasks
