This program offers a unique opportunity to earn a degree while gaining practical experience on a bridge replacement project supporting the West Coast Mainline over the M6 Motorway. Key Responsibilities Survey the site and set out for construction teams Check the quality of construction work Produce permits such as permits to excavate or vegetation clearance permits Manage daily site activities and attend shift briefings Develop understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in civil engineering Candidate Requirements 3 A-levels at grades A-C, preferably in Maths and a Physical Science, or equivalent Level 3 qualification 5 GCSEs at grades 5-9 including Maths, English, and Science Enthusiasm for teamwork and learning Qualifications and Training You will study towards a Degree in Civil Engineering at a local university, with support to achieve the Incorporated Civil Engineer (IEng MICE) professional qualification through Skanska’s ICE-accredited training agreement.
