Principal Instrument Engineer PSC

Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument Engineer on a contract basis, working outside IR35 with hybrid working (3 days per week) in our Aberdeen Office. We have opportunities on several large standalone projects and on/offshore modification scopes. Our clients include some of the largest global operators within the energy industry, offering long-term project opportunities. Responsibilities: Provide instrument engineering support to the client contract as required. Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client, and project standards. Originate and check instrument engineering deliverables within budget and schedule. Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory frameworks, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments, and promote this knowledge to direct reports. Manage discipline CTRs, contribute to estimates, proposals, plans, and progress reports. Develop calculation packages as required. Perform site or client office visits if necessary. Present and describe engineering solutions and concepts competently to both technical and non-technical audiences. Organise, plan, and coordinate own work and resources on specific projects. Support quality and technical assurance activities as needed. Qualifications for Internal Candidates: MSc, MEng, or equivalent professional qualification; or BSc, BEng, or equivalent with considerable relevant experience; or HNC/HND or equivalent with relevant considerable experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
