Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Practitioner

Banana Moon Sheffield is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about early years education and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing engaging curricula in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care and education is delivered
• Observing and assessing children\’s development, providing feedback and support as needed
• Maintaining a safe and organized environment for all children
• Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve practice

Requirements

• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Passion for making a positive impact on young children\’s lives
• Paediatric first aid certificate (12 hours)
