My client is a well-established Foodservice business who have a fantastic reputation for their top-quality products and level of service which they provide to a number of different sectors. They are seeking a Depot General Manager to join their team and lead one of their key distribution centres. The successful Depot General Manager will have full P&L responsibility for the site, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable running of the operation. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and inspire a large, multi-functional team across warehouse, transport, and customer service departments.
  • Ensure the depot meets all operational KPIs including safety, service levels, cost control, and stock integrity.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant food safety, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to meet customer expectations and drive growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimise logistics, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
