Acre is partnering with Alupro (Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation) to hire a Membership Manager. Alupro is a non-profit organisation with over 30 years of experience representing the UK's aluminium packaging industry. They collaborate with local authorities, waste management, and the metal packaging sector to develop UK collection infrastructure and promote circularity.
Role responsibilities include:
- Identifying, researching, and pursuing potential members and sponsors across sectors in the aluminium packaging value chain.
- Developing and implementing outreach strategies for prospects of varying sizes and values.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at industry events and conferences.
- Modernising the membership sign-up process for efficiency and accessibility.
- Supporting current members to ensure engagement, retention, and satisfaction, including regular meetings and training coordination.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a proven track record in securing new memberships or sponsorships, preferably within industry associations or non-profits, and has strong networking skills and project management experience. This hybrid role requires monthly travel to Redditch and occasional travel for meetings and conferences.
