The Role

As Insights Analyst, you will be identifying macro trends, assessing market performance of brands & competitors, determining drivers behind market/promotional performance, and gaining an understanding of shopper behaviours and consumption trends. You will work in close partnership across various functional teams internally and with external analytics agencies to guide business growth strategy. You will drive data-led insights into the marketing decision-making process and NPD evaluation, ensuring that decisions are driven by a rigorous, fact-based approach. You’ll be passionate about understanding shoppers and consumers, and how macro trends and tactical in-store activities influence their shopping and consumption behaviours across retailers and channels.

The Candidate

You will have experience working in a supplier-side insights role, agency side (Kantar/Nielsen/Circana) or in a role heavily involving data. You will have the ability to look at consumer needs as a source of inspiration, with proven sales and marketing experience and a track record of achievement. A passion for data and analytics tools is a must! You should be open to exploring new ways of analytic approaches. The role will involve cross-functional team working; therefore, the ability to successfully develop and maintain relationships by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping sight of deadlines are essential.
