Job Description
We have partnered with a top international law firm regarding a compliance analyst hire to support the firms risk management process related to opening new matters in their UK and EU offices, based in London.
The Analyst will work closely with the Compliance Manager/Head Of, supporting research, data entry, and projects. They will also collaborate with the US Conflicts and Intake team, providing backup support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts conflict and AML searches for UK and European offices, with backup support for the US
- Performs in-depth research using internal and external databases
- Responds to partner and Legal Executive Assistant inquiries on conflicts and new matters
- Collaborates with the US team and Special Counsel on conflicts, ethical walls, and waivers; documents partner responses
- Communicates effectively with lawyers and staff across offices
Applicant Expectations:
- A minimum of 1-2 years legal risk and compliance experience with exposures to conflicts and AML work in an international law firm environment
- Ability to analyse and summarise complex information from multiple sources
