Business Development Manager (Drain Services)
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (Drain Services) to join our client\’s rapidly growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers while enjoying a hybrid working model—both onsite and office-based.
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + Commission
Location: Halifax Hybrid (Onsite & Office-Based)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Cold calling and generating new business opportunities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers through calls, emails, Teams, and site visits
- Leveraging your existing network to drive business growth
- Managing projects and supporting client needs
- Responding to inbound leads and following up on prospects
- Preparing and presenting written quotes to potential clients
- Meeting KPIs and sales targets set by management
What We\’re Looking For:
- Previous sales experience is essential (full training provided on products & procedures)
- A proven track record in a sales or business development role
- Highly motivated with a passion for sales and ambition for career growth
- Experience in surface water drainage or civil engineering is advantageous
- Resilience and determination to thrive in a competitive environment
