This new role will be a key part of our growing Defense team, focusing on contract management and compliance for sales to the US Federal Government and other government agencies. The role offers a varied scope where you will influence our Defense contracting and compliance processes. We require at least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of US Federal Contracting requirements. The position provides high autonomy, requiring proactive work and relationship-building internally and externally. It offers exposure to leadership and a pivotal role in a growing team. Learn more about our culture here: Western Global Careers . Key Responsibilities: Contract Lifecycle Management: Review and respond to RFPs/RFQs, coordinating technical, legal, and sales inputs. Manage non-standard quotes for Defense customers. Proactively administer Defense customer contracts. Oversee order acceptance processes for Defense orders. Coordinate across functions to ensure contract compliance. Managing Defense Compliance Framework: Implement and oversee US Federal Contracting (FAR/DFAR) compliance. Develop and manage Defense compliance frameworks. Advise on US Federal Contracting policies and regulations. Conduct compliance audits and checks. Assist with export control compliance. Enhance supplier management processes within the Defense supply chain. What Will Give You the Edge: At least 5 yearsโ experience in a similar role, preferably in federal contracting or defense industries. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and federal contracting processes. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to build relationships and manage expectations. Self-motivated, independent, and reliable. Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
