Halewood, Liverpool Job Summary The field engineer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of custom machines (material handling & fastening systems) at Preston workshop & mainly at customer plants. Focused on quality and safety. 12-month fixed-term contract with extension option Responsibilities Set up machines at Preston for sign off with the customers Organise delivery to the end user Manage the installations in autonomy (prevention plans, lifting means, etc.) Set up machines at customer sites Refine settings Diagnose and fix potential failures Basic Qualifications Qualification in mechanical or electro-technical engineering Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Few trips: Preston, UK Punctual trips: other customers in the UK Experience of 3 years at a similar position in an industrial environment Good skills with hand tools, power tools and good practices for mechanical, pneumatic and electric assembly SolidWorks CAD software only for visualisation Forklift driving license / MEWP driving license / Working at height permit What we Offer 25 days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays 5% Employee and 7% Employer Pension Contribution Costco Gold Company member, with access for employees to join Employee Assistance Program LinkedIn Learning – full free access O2 Reach Special Accommodation If you are a person with a disability and need assistance applying for a job, please submit a request .
