Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Orchard House in Withington. You will join a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, comparable to what we would want for our own families. We use the latest care technology to enable you to spend more quality time with service users.
Previous experience working with older people in residential care is required. You should be flexible, patient, caring, organized, and excellent with people. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the completion or ongoing pursuit of your QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring effective communication
- Keeping your Line Manager informed about residents’ needs and progress
- Being a team player, able to follow guidelines and policies easily
- Writing care plans
