We are working with a leading pensions law firm to recruit a qualified Pensions Litigation Lawyer for an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented litigator to join a respected team and gain hands-on experience across a range of complex pensions and trust disputes.

About the Role

Reporting to a senior partner specialising in contentious pensions matters, you’ll support litigation work and may also be required to assist partners on non-contentious matters.

Key Requirements

  • 1+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) preferred, though flexibility is available for the right candidate.
  • UK-qualified or foreign-qualified (e.g., Australia, New Zealand) welcome to apply.
  • Background in trust, pensions, or financial services litigation highly desirable.
  • Must be proactive, organised, responsive, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Should show a degree of commitment and stability across roles, though we appreciate the nature of contract work.

Location & Working Pattern

Role can be based in London or Leeds. Hybrid working available; however, the team typically works in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. (Leeds office tends to be in-person most days.) Hybrid working requests for specific circumstances can be considered.

Remuneration

Competitive day rate or salary range offered based on experience and location.

Start Date: April/May 2025

Duration: 6-month contract (potential to extend or convert to permanent)
