We’re looking for an IT & Information Security Manager to lead our cloud security strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives. Aveni is an award-winning technology company. About the Role
As an IT & InfoSec Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant IT operations within our cloud-first environment. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll work across all business functions, influencing IT security strategy, AI governance, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- IT & Cloud Security Governance – Managing security across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and SaaS platforms.
- Risk & Compliance Leadership – Ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and CIS 18.
- AI & Data Security – Driving best practices for AI-first security and compliance.
- Business-Focused Security Strategy – Supporting sales, contracts, and client security due diligence.
- Incident Response & Risk Management – Leading security response planning and mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Partnering with engineering, product, and leadership teams to drive security initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in IT security management within a cloud-first, SaaS-driven environment.
- Expertise in security frameworks like ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and CIS 18.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and IAM best practices.
- Experience with security due diligence and responding to commercial security queries.
- Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Mosyle.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for staying ahead of emerging security threats, AI risks, and compliance trends.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or fintech.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their security implications.
- Project management experience in security-related initiatives.
