As Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for the site. You will be responsible for setting and executing strategic goals, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of high performance across all departments.

Responsibilities of the Plant Manager will include:

  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Develop and execute a progressive, forward-thinking site strategy aligned with wider business goals
  • Drive operational excellence through world-class manufacturing practices and continuous improvement (CI)
  • Champion lean manufacturing and embed a mindset of operational efficiency at all levels
  • Implement and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality
  • Work closely with Commercial, Technical, and Product Development teams to support innovation and growth
  • Leverage technology to future-proof operations and boost productivity

We are keen to speak with Plant Managers / senior operations leaders with:

  • Degree-level qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior site leadership role within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Ideally from a CNC machining background
  • A strong background in lean/CI methodologies and world-class manufacturing
  • A track record of delivering successful operational transformations
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Strategic mindset with a practical, hands-on leadership style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
