We are working with a HealthTech Start-up with serial entrepreneurs that successfully exited a previous tech company very recently! They are on a mission to build an exciting B2C product, that will do good for the world.
You will be building a preventative health digital platform, to empower the masses to understand and take control of their health. The goal is to take users on a journey and provide a holistic approach to maintaining great health using cutting-edge tech and data-driven insights.
As a Founding Full Stack Tech Lead you will be the first Engineering hire and be a thought partner for the business. You will be tasked with designing and building the MVP, writing the very first lines of code with it being completely greenfield!
You will work closely with the incredible founding team, to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Make high level decisions on the tech stack, tools and platforms - operating as a true Full stack engineer across the Frontend, Backend and iOS native application. On top of this, with their ambitions plans to raise more money at the end of this year, you will be mentoring and growing a technology team around you.
Key Responsibilities:- Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and API design best practices
- Ideally Fullstack TypeScript Engineer (across frontend and backend)
- Proven experience as a senior software engineer or tech lead, ideally in an early stage startup environment as an iOS Developer
- Ideally strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java) and one frontend framework (e.g., React with Tailwind, Angular, Vue) and SwiftUI (for mobile)
- Ideally experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)
- Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations
Compensation includes a salary up to £110,000 with Stocks, flexible working hours and remote work options, Wework membership and off-peak Old Sessions House membership, opportunity to shape the technological direction of a promising startup, collaborative and innovative work environment, and professional growth and development opportunities.
