The Company: A well-established food manufacturing company that has recently expanded and is looking for a Machine Maintenance Operative to support a 2-shift system.
The Machine Maintenance Operative Candidate:
- Must have experience working with and repairing various types of automated machinery.
- Previous experience with food machinery is preferred but not essential.
- Must be enthusiastic, willing to learn new techniques and technologies, and driven to improve and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Take ownership of the production line to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Machine Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and operate automated and packaging processing machinery.
- Run different lines to operating standards, perform line changeovers, and start-ups for various orders and customers.
