R.P. Marzilli has been installing and maintaining New England’s finest residential landscapes since 1985. We are seeking landscape professionals passionate about plant health care to join our team and deliver outstanding service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities- Perform applications addressing fertility, weed management, and insect management of turf on client properties.
- Identify and diagnose insect, disease, and cultural issues on turf.
- Adhere to best Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
- Communicate turf needs to Division Manager and/or Account Managers.
- Calibrate spray truck equipment regularly for accurate applications.
- Follow EPA labels and correctly mix spray tanks for daily applications.
- Record detailed notes of each application, including material usage, into handheld devices.
- Assist with Plant Health Care applications and Tick/Mosquito Control as needed.
- Follow efficient routes to visit multiple properties daily and complete tasks effectively.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Current MA and RI Pesticide License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Field experience in a comparable position preferred.
- Relevant degree (e.g., turf management, plant pathology) preferred.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work some Saturdays during busy seasons.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
