Salary: Scale Point 12, Grade D, £30,021 – £34,121 per annum Reporting to: Business Manager Location: Aylesbury Railway Club, Coxhill Way, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP21 8HH Role Overview This is a newly formed role, which will suit a candidate who has the drive to promote and effectively manage the smooth running of one of our community centres, ‘the Railway Club’. An important aspect of the role is to develop the Club as a Community Hub / Centre, promote the facilities available and identify new opportunities by means of effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions. The Manager will work to ensure the Railway Club is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of local residents and organisations within a sustainable framework. This role will suit someone that will be self-motivated and can work autonomously. The Business Manager, as line manager, will support and mentor the Community Centre Manager to aid them in achieving their full potential within the role. Pay scales that are competitive and reviewed annually. 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time). Increase to 26 days annual leave after 5 years’ service (pro-rated for part time). Location: on-site as well as attending meetings at the Town Hall. 2 days statutory leave. Health and Wellbeing services including fast-track and free counselling service.
