Leading dynamic manufacturing business requires an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer. The role will suit a 3rd Line IT Support professional with broad experience covering End User Compute and the ability to troubleshoot Networking Incidents. This is a Business As Usual (BAU) 3rd Line IT Support role.
Role:
- Provide 3rd Line IT Support for an end user base of approximately 400 onsite end users and 2,500 UK wide.
- Focus on supporting End User Compute, mainly 3rd Line Remote Desktop Support, with some onsite IT Support.
- Manage and resolve 3rd Line Incidents.
- Troubleshoot Networking Incidents - SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Aruba, Cisco, Networking.
- Align to the ITIL Framework - SLAs, Incident Management, and Raising IT Change Requests.
Skills Experience Required:
- Strong 3rd Line IT Support experience.
- Incident and Request Management experience.
- Experience in an Enterprise Environment, carrying out upgrades and maintenance.
- Detailed understanding of core IT Infrastructure products at 3rd Line IT Support level.
- Ability to troubleshoot SD WAN and Networking issues.
- Experience with Firewalls, ideally Fortinet or similar.
- Understanding of IOT and Operational Technology.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Hybrid Administration.
- Familiarity with MCM, Print Services, Entra, InTune, AutoPilot, and IDP technologies.
- Experience in escalating issues to IT Third Parties and managing the process professionally.
- Understanding of ITIL Best Practices.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Citrix Support.
