A leading international chain of Fine Art Galleries is seeking to hire an Administrative Manager to one of its Galleries located in London! Our Administrative manager will be responsible for the gallery\’s administration and general operations. Also deal with HR related issues & bookkeeping.
As part of this position, you will be responsible for preparing and calculating payroll for staff, processing payments and liaising with suppliers, recording sales orders, managing staff and back office, hiring staff, ordering supplies and maintaining smooth operations in the gallery, and to the highest standard – while working with high end clients and in a luxury retail work environment and culture.
Requirements as follows:
Familiarity and experience with bookkeeping / accounts.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
Excellent administrative and PC skills, being proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing daily schedules for the teams and handling dynamic priorities.
Other languages – An advantage
**The role is a replacement for 1 year maternity leave with an option, after 1 year, to develop to another role in our company in London or relocate to other branches internationally.
