The Role and Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Delegate Sales Manager to lead our Delegate Sales team. As a Delegate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the team, overseeing the entire sales cycle, and ensuring our events are attended by key decision-makers and industry leaders.

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the delegate sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve delegate sales targets for various events and conferences. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and research. Oversee the generation and qualification of leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events. Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and tailor sales pitches accordingly. Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with prospects to convert leads into confirmed delegates.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing exceptional customer service. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value delegates, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities. Analyse sales data and performance metrics to refine sales strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
