The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are seeking a passionate and versatile individual to teach singing and musical theatre across both KS4 and Post-16 pathways. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality group singing classes, contribute to our theoretical curriculum, and play a key role in musical direction for full-scale productions. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will serve as a Post-16 pastoral tutor, guiding students in both their academic and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Significant experience in musical direction and teaching singing within a vocational musical theatre setting;
  • A strong understanding of musical theatre repertoire and vocal pedagogy;
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and team-working skills;
  • A degree in musical theatre or equivalent professional experience;
  • Qualified Teacher Status (desirable – the School is supportive of those working towards QTS);
  • Experience working with young people in an educational or training context.

Please note that an essential skill is the ability to play the piano, sight read and accompany to a high standard.
