Duties as an English Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in English Language and Literature Inspire students to appreciate a wide range of texts, from classic literature to contemporary works Develop students’ analytical, writing, and communication skills Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support Encourage creativity and independent thinking in all students Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities such as book clubs, writing competitions, or drama productions Ideal English Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English Have experience teaching English at [Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and/or Key Stage 5] Are committed to making lessons engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all learners Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students as an English Teacher.
