This position is responsible for assisting the Client Accounting Supervisor in all areas but particularly in processing transactions in the client accounting system and certain subsystems. The person in this position will need to be able to work with the client accounting system as well as other applications that are used in client accounting. The primary objectives of this position are to ensure all client and departmental deadlines are met, accounting records are accurate, and that departmental and firm policies are being followed. This is a remote position.
Your Role:
- Process work relating to Client Accounting functions; record and reverse client bills and cash receipts; transfer time and expense entries as requested, post expenses, client, matter, and timekeeper record maintenance, provide financial data connected to the firm's client audit data requests and analysis for various requests from lawyers and clients and researching any items that are questioned.
- Respond to firm employees regarding client-related requests, and order or create reports, when required.
- Assist supervisor with special requests, act as back-up for coworkers, maintain confidentiality of client and firm matters, and interact with lawyers, paralegals, and support staff within your department and other departments in accordance with a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Assist in the distribution of end-of-month reports, checking to ensure that all reports are correct and accounted for on the master list before being distributed.

Required Experience:

Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position and the ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.

The salary range for this position is from $50,000 - $55,000 depending upon experience and location.
